Mitch's Story:

Mitch’s story: Mitch was surrendered due to a combination of allergies, moving to an apartment with stricter pet policies, and being unable to afford basic care for Mitch long term. Mitch’s foster writes, “I’m an energetic young boy who loves long walks and even longer cuddles. I would love nothing more than if my foster dad would stop working all the time and just snuggle with me on the couch, between walks of course. I love toys of all shapes and sizes, but my favorite ones are the ones filled with peanut butter, or anything I can destroy – say goodbye to your tennis balls human! I am respectful of children and strangers, but am not so sure about other dogs – my foster dad has been walking me with a muzzle, which I tolerate well, and which keeps me out of trouble. I am a fast learner and love working on new tricks. I am a considerate houseguest who will ask permission to get up on the couch, and I haven’t had any accidents in the house. I mostly entertain myself during the day with naps by the front door, in my crate, or next to my foster dad while he works – but watch out for my zoomies…sometimes I just can’t help myself! I would love to find a forever home with a family so that I’ll always have humans to hang out with, and a family with a yard would be even better!”
