Lace's Story:
Lace’s story: This sweet chubby girl was found tied to a pole in February 2020 with a bite wound on her ear. Unfortunately she needed a 6 month quarantine because of this, but thanks to her amazing fosters she will be finishing this quarantine very soon! Lace’s foster writes, “Hi, my name is Lace! I’ve had a bit of a ruff ride but if you think you might be my furever home, I can promise hours of sitting at your feet, kisses and affection. I love nothing more than hanging out with my people, chewing on a good bone and enjoying some family time be it on my bed (I loooove having my own bed) or on a makeshift bed that I construct out of anything that reminds me of my people. I may be six but I’ve not forgotten how to give the biggest puppy eyes you’ve ever seen. I don’t love to be alone but so long as I have some music going, and something hearty to chew on, I’m learning. Sorry to say that other dogs have not always been very nice to me so I have a few scars and I get quite nervous around them so I would love to be your only dog. In exchange, I’ll take every excuse to let you know that you are my only people. If that could involve a lot of belly rubs I will take as many as you can give, and they will be much appreciated. If you think that family might be yours, please contact the adoption team at [email protected]”
